UNITY – Together against disinformation

UNITY – Together against disinformation Every day, we are exposed to thousands of pieces of information online. Some inform, some connect and some divide. Disinformation, propaganda, emotional manipulation and AI-generated content are becoming increasingly difficult to recognise. This is especially challenging for young people, who are growing up in an information environment where truth and fiction often compete for attention. At Unity CERV Project, we believe that preventing hate speech starts long before hateful words appear. It begins with critical thinking, media literacy, empathy and the ability to question what we see online. Building more inclusive communities means helping young people navigate complex information, recognise manipulation and engage in respectful dialogue across differences. Because resilience to hate is not only about what we say — it is also about how we think. Funded by the European Union. Views and opinions expressed are however those of the author(s) only and do not necessarily reflect those of the European Union or the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA). Neither the European Union nor EACEA can be held responsible for them.

HikeWise – Benefits with contact with nature

HikeWise – Benefits with contact with nature Nature is more than a destination, it’s a powerful learning environment. Research shows that regular contact with nature can improve concentration, emotional wellbeing, memory retention, problem-solving skills, and physical health. Yet many young people spend most of their time indoors, disconnected from these benefits. Through HIKE WISE, we promote hiking and outdoor education as innovative tools to support environmental awareness, active lifestyles, and student wellbeing across Europe. Let’s bring learning beyond the classroom and reconnect students with the natural world.

HikeWise – Hiking in PE

HikeWise – Hiking in PE Hiking isn’t just exercise, it’s a way back to nature. As screen time rises and outdoor experiences decline, many young people are experiencing what experts call a “nature deficit.” Through Physical Education, hiking can help reconnect students with the natural world while building fitness, resilience, teamwork, and environmental responsibility. Encourages active lifestyles Strengthens mental wellbeing Develops leadership and cooperation Inspires environmental awareness Together, we can transform PE into an opportunity for healthier, more connected, and more sustainable futures.
