🚀 First Online Meeting of the #Erasmus+ “Youth Voices” Project! 🗳️ We are thrilled to have kicked off our first online meeting for the Erasmus+ project “Youth Voices”! This initiative aims to reduce political disaffection among young people, encouraging them to engage and actively participate in democratic life.The project is led by Deep Democracy Denmark, an organization dedicated to fostering democratic dialogue and participation. As partners, Connectus M.IKE, specializing in continuous innovation in education and Hi European Youth, a dynamic organization focusing on youth empowerment, are bringing their expertise to the project.During our meeting, we discussed key aspects of our collaboration, including:✅ Project management – defining roles, responsibilities, and timelines to ensure smooth implementation✅ Activities – planning workshops, discussions, and interactive sessions to engage young people✅ Dissemination – developing strategies to effectively share our progress, insights, and results with a wider audience This is just the beginning! Ursula von der Leyen is the first woman European Commission (EC) President. She took up office in 2019 and is responsible for allocating portfolios to each Commissioner and setting the EC’s policy agenda. Her role also requires her to represent the EC at European Council meetings, G7 and G20 summits, summits with non-EU countries and major debates in the European Parliament and the Council. Prior to this, she served as Germany’s Defence Minister in 2013 under the Angela Merkel government.  She played a pivotal role during the Russia-Ukraine war and the DC pledged EUR 9.1 billion for the internally displaced and refugees. She is also an active climate change activist and is vocal about gender equality and supports campaigns for the LGBTQI+ community. Described as a ‘workaholic’ by Vogue, Ursula von der Leyen is a mother of seven — David, Sophie, Donata, twins Victoria and Johanna, Egmont von der Leyen, and Gracia von der Leyen. Module 6 aims to expand participants’ understanding of professional growth pathways by providing support in areas critical for work readiness, such as CV writing, interview preparation, and job search mentoring.  ✅Understanding the steps that are needed for different career options, including self-employment and entrepreneurship.✅Creating a strategic plan for career development or business start-up, including market research, financial planning and resource allocation.✅Applying practical skills necessary for job searching such as resume writing and preparing for job interviews.✅Evaluating the available community support options and accessing these to support one’s career growth.
