We are pleased to share an important milestone of the ESG Essentials project: the completion of the External Assessment of ESG Essentials Implementation Framework.

This phase represented an essential opportunity to validate the progress achieved so far and gather independent feedback on the development of the ESG Essentials Implementation Framework designed as a guided, step-by-step approach to help SMEs and micro-enterprises integrate ESG and sustainability into everyday business decisions, streamline operations and build a structured strategy for long-term impact.

As part of the assessment process, 90 professionals from the project’s target groups participated in external assessment workshops organised across the consortium countries to test and validate the implementation framework.

The external assessment provided:
1) Independent feedback on the framework’s quality and relevance
2) Insights to strengthen usability and impact
3) Recommendations to support refinement and implementation
4) A shared basis for the transition towards the next project phases

We look forward to continuing this discussion and aligning on the next actions during the upcoming Transnational Project Meeting in Rome the next 24th of July.
