UNITY - International Human Rights Day
This December 10th marked the International Human Rights Day, a reminder that the principle of human dignity does not end in the physical world. It also extends to the digital environment, where we interact, create identity, and build communities.
Digital human rights mean fear-free participation, protected privacy, access to reliable information, and mutual respect, even in intense debates. Defending these rights is not about limiting opinions: it is about ensuring that the online space does not become a terrain of harassment, misinformation or verbal violence.
In the Unity CERV Project we work to strengthen this vision, promoting inclusion, prevention of hate speech and conscious digital citizenship. Recognizing rights in digital is to promote empathy, responsibility, and healthy coexistence.
What good practices do you consider essential to defend Human Rights on the internet?
