UNITY - Youth and Cyberbullying
The European Commission reports that one in six teenagers in the EU experiences cyberbullying — a reminder that digital spaces can deeply affect young people’s wellbeing, relationships, and sense of safety.
In response, the Commission is developing the first EU Action Plan against Cyberbullying, aiming to protect minors, address gender-related digital risks, and strengthen prevention measures across Europe.
At UNITY, we turn these priorities into action on the ground.
Through youth workshops, educational campaigns, and cross-country collaboration, we aim to help young people recognise online hate, build resilience, and create safer communities — both online and offline.
Together with partners in six EU countries, UNITY contributes to a shared European effort to make the internet a place where everyone can grow, learn, and connect — free from fear and exclusion.
