ERASMUS+ Green Skills Project – Activity 4: “Changing Your Lifestyle: Being an Environmental Manager”

Day 1: Monday, 6th May 2025
We kicked off our transnational workshop in sunny Athens with energy and excitement!
👥 Participants:
14 enthusiastic students from Italy (Liceo Bianchi Dottula – Bari), Slovenia (Ekonomska šola Novo mesto), and Lithuania (Klaipeda “Vetrunge” Gymnasium), along with their dedicated accompanying teachers, gathered for a unique training experience hosted by CONNECTUS.
🗣️ Morning Highlights:
Warm welcome and introductions by trainers, students, and teachers
Presentations from each partner school on sustainable economics in their regions
An inspiring workshop on “Tomorrow’s Environmental Manager: Changing Lifestyles” 
Engaging discussion on the 2030 Agenda and how green education can transform our daily lives 
🏛️ Afternoon Cultural Exploration:
Our learning extended into the heart of Athens as we explored the rich cultural heritage of the city.
We visited the Acropolis Museum and climbed the legendary Acropolis Rock – a perfect setting to reflect on how we must protect both our environment and cultural legacy. 
This “study on the field” showed us firsthand how environmental management and cultural preservation go hand in hand.
