We recently surveyed mothers in five European countries—Slovakia, Ireland, Belgium, Greece, and Portugal—to better understand their experiences, challenges, and aspirations. Here are some key findings from our report on balancing work, family, and career development:

Who Took Part?
The survey included a diverse group of mothers, mainly aged 35-44, with a mix of marital statuses and family sizes (from one to five children) from urban, rural, and small-town backgrounds.
